'We Thank Thee, O God, For A Prophet.'

SALT LAKE CITY, 27 January 2008 President Gordon B. Hinckley, who led The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints through twelve years of global expansion, has died at the age of 97.

President Hinckley was the 15th president in the 177-year history of the Church and had served as its president since 12 March 1995.

'We thank thee, O God, for a Prophet, to guide us in these latter days, we thank thee for sending the Gospel, to lighten our minds with its rays. We thank thee for every blessing bestowed by thy bounteous hand. We feel it a pleasure to serve thee and love to obey thy command.'

We love you President Hinckley

RSV Update!

Well, he still has RSV and I'll tell ya what, it stinks! He has been one sick little guy and I feel like we live at the hospital and the Dr. Office. There is now an RSV Clinic at McKay Dee that is open 24 hours and you can just go whenever so that has been nice. They will do breathing treatments or suction his nose or just listen to him if I worry- which I do. Last night he started on a couple new meds so hopefully we are on the down side of this. Dr. Watts said that because Ryder was born premature and his lungs wern't developed that something like this is really hard on his little lungs and harder for him to fight off. :( We will keep you posted. Thanks for all your concern:)

RSV is no fun!

Ryder has RSV. No fun at all. He started on Friday and the doctor said it was croup, but last night we ended up in the ER and its RSV. He is doing okay, better now that he has had a few breathing treatments, but we still worry like crazy. Last year we got lucky and he was able to get the RSV shot because he was premature and on oxygen for the first few months of life. Its really hard to qualify for the shot so he didn't get to get it again this year:( Hopefully this won't last long... if any of you have had kids with this, I'd love any advice!
